Platinum (prizes worth between $25,000 and $75,000):

  1. Custom mouse model: knock out, knock in, or transgenic (donated by Taconic)
  2. Human tissue functional assays: vascular contractility, mucosal, or isolated bronchial rings (donated by Biopta)
  3. Clinical Development Consulting: navigating regulatory hurdles and program design (donated by Charles River Laboratories)
  4. Genome Analysis Software: license for 100 whole genome or exome samples (donated by Ingenuity Systems)
  5. Primer design: licenses for primer/probe design and up to 100,000 qPCR data points analyzed (donated by DNA Software)

Gold (prizes worth between $10,000 and $25,000):

  1. Custom Zinc Finger Nuclease: targeted gene knockout or gene integration (donated by Sigma Life Science)
  2. Expression analysis: gene or microRNA expression analysis of 30 blood or tissue samples (donated by Genemarkers)
  3. Assay development: for high throughput screening, secondary screening and R&D (donated by Cisbio Bioassays)
  4. Data collaboration software: 5 licenses for rare disease data management (donated by Collaborative Drug Discovery)
  5. NGS Analysis: software for aligning NGS reads to a reference genome (donated by Novocraft Technologies)
  6. Bioinformatics software: software for copy number analysis gene expression software; professional analysis (donated by BioDiscovery)
  7. Bioinformatics Consulting: 10 working days of consulting and analysis of translational data, post sequencing (donated by BioVariance)
  8. TAQ Reagents: 44 tubes of JumpStart TAQ ReadyMix (donated by Sigma Life Science)

Silver (prizes worth between $5,000 and $10,000):

  1. Sequencing services: 2 RNA-Seq AND 3 whole human exome sequencing (donated by Otogenetics)
